The following are detailed dimensions of the volleyball court which tend to vary for women competitions, veteran and junior competitions

A volleyball court

 9 m × 18 m (29.5 ft × 59.1 ft), divided into equal square halves by a net with a width of one meter (39.4 in).

The volleyball net dimensions

The volleyball net is typically 39 inches tall and 32 feet long, which provides one foot of netting on each side of the court.The top of the net is 2.43 m (7 ft 11 11⁄16 in) above the center of the court for men's competition, and 2.24 m (7 ft 4 3⁄16 in) for women's competition, varied for veterans and junior competitions.

The attack line

A line 3 m (9.8 ft) from and parallel to the net is considered the "attack line". It divides the court into "back row" and "front row" areas (also back court and front court).

The free zone

Has a minimum of 3 meters wide and which the players may enter and play within after the service of the ball.

Distance from the pole to the sideline

The distance from the pole which holds the net to the sideline of the volleyball court is 3 meters (9.8 ft).

Width of the volleyball lines

The volleyball court lines are two (2) inch thick but for the centers line which separates the back row and front row has 4 inch thick.
